Olle Enderlein was born in Norrköping, Sweden in 1917.
As a trained engineer, boat designing for him was regarded as a hobby that gradually became his profession. Being quite a reserved person, his designs were his means of communication and he was considered as much an artist as he was a constructor.
Enderlein developed his interest in boats and boat construction throughout his life and designed a couple of hundred different boat models, quite an unbeatable record. His most-loved designs include the O.E. boats.
The O.E. 38, was designed to be sea-worthy and comfortable for ocean-going voyages and suitable for small groups. At Sailing Into Wellness, it presents an opportunity for programme participants to experience the excitement of sailing a long-distance cruising yacht.
Voyaging on a vessel of this type is a powerful setting for personal development, social integration and positive health and well-being. Sea-based voyage programmes enable individuals to develop pro-social relationships, learn new skills and feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
